These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Empowering Freedom website, services, and training programs (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website or registering for any training, event, or service provided by Empowering Freedom ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or operation of our website
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any part of our Services without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services if these Terms are violated.

Registration for trainings, workshops, or events offered by Empowering Freedom may require payment. By registering for a training, you agree to provide accurate payment and contact information.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Empowering Freedom does not store full credit card information.

Registration is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

Training registrations may be canceled according to the following guidelines:

• Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the training may be eligible for a full refund or transfer to a future training.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the training may not be eligible for a refund but may be transferred to another scheduled training at our discretion.
• No-shows may not be eligible for refunds.

If Empowering Freedom cancels or reschedules a training, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer registration to another session.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@empoweringfreedom.org.

Some trainings offered by Empowering Freedom may include continuing education (CE) credits for professionals such as peer support specialists, recovery specialists, or other behavioral health professionals.

To receive continuing education credit, participants must:

• Attend the training in its entirety unless otherwise specified
• Participate in required activities during the training
• Complete any required evaluations or feedback forms
• Provide accurate credentialing information if CE certificates require it

Participants who arrive late, leave early, or do not complete required evaluation forms may not be eligible to receive continuing education credit.

Empowering Freedom cannot guarantee that all trainings will meet the requirements of every licensing board, certification body, or professional organization. Participants are responsible for confirming eligibility with their credentialing authority when necessary.

Empowering Freedom may record certain trainings, webinars, or events for educational, quality assurance, or promotional purposes. When recordings are planned, participants will be notified in advance.

By participating in a recorded training or event, you acknowledge that your name, voice, image, or contributions may appear in the recording.

Participants may not record, photograph, or distribute any portion of a training or event without prior written permission from Empowering Freedom. Unauthorized recording or distribution of training content is strictly prohibited.

Any recordings produced by Empowering Freedom remain the intellectual property of Empowering Freedom and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without authorization.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully during trainings and events. Empowering Freedom reserves the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, discriminatory, or harmful behavior.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include harassment, discrimination, threats, or repeated disruption of the learning environment.

Participants removed for violating these expectations will not be eligible for refunds.

Empowering Freedom is committed to making our trainings and services accessible to all participants. We strive to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure individuals with disabilities can fully participate in our programs.

Participants who require accommodations should contact us as soon as possible prior to the training or event so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Accommodation requests may include, but are not limited to:

• Closed captioning or accessibility support for virtual trainings
• Accessible training materials when available
• Additional support related to disability access

Requests can be submitted by emailing contact@empoweringfreedom.org. While we will make reasonable efforts to meet accommodation needs, advance notice helps ensure we can provide the most effective support.

All materials provided through our Services, including training materials, presentations, curriculum content, text, graphics, logos, and recordings, are the property of Empowering Freedom or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Training materials are provided for personal or professional educational use only.

You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute training materials without permission
• Record trainings without authorization
• Use Empowering Freedom materials to conduct your own trainings unless explicitly permitted

Unauthorized use of materials may violate copyright laws.

Empowering Freedom provides educational training and peer-support related programming. Our Services are intended for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, clinical, legal, or psychological advice.

Participation in our trainings does not establish a therapeutic, clinical, or professional service relationship.

Individuals seeking professional medical, mental health, or legal assistance should consult qualified professionals.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empowering Freedom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our Services, including participation in trainings or events.

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

Our website may include links to third-party websites or services. Empowering Freedom is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
