James Bollinger is a dedicated peer specialist based in Philadelphia, PA, with a passion for advocating and supporting individuals in their journey towards recovery. With a solid background in peer-based support services and a genuine commitment to community outreach, James excels in engaging participants with empathy and critical thinki
James Bollinger is a dedicated peer specialist based in Philadelphia, PA, with a passion for advocating and supporting individuals in their journey towards recovery. With a solid background in peer-based support services and a genuine commitment to community outreach, James excels in engaging participants with empathy and critical thinking. His experience includes former roles such as Recovery Friendly Workplace Advocate at Unity Recovery and his current role with The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania as Coordinator of the Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC), where he identifies training needs and develops innovative curriculum. James holds several certifications from the Pennsylvania Certification Board and other organizations and will soon earn his Associate degree in Social Work from Delaware County Community College. With a blend of compassion, leadership, and expertise, James looks forward to continuing his impactful journey, advancing the cause of recovery and empowerment within communities.

His journey has been one of resilience, overcoming mental health challenges, substance use disorder (SUD), and justice impacted to transform his life's trajectory. Leonard is dedicated to giving back the compassion he received. As part of Empowerin
Leonard Burnett, also known as Lenny, is the Co-Founder of Empowering Freedom Organization. His journey has been one of resilience, overcoming mental health challenges, substance use disorder (SUD), and justice impacted to transform his life's trajectory. Leonard is dedicated to giving back the compassion he received. As part of Empowering Freedom, he serves as a CRS, CPS, WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) facilitator, and Forensic facilitator. Lenny now leads a small business start-up program supporting justice-impacted individuals in becoming entrepreneurs.
Beyond Empowering Freedom, he volunteers as a mentor with the Pa Prison Society, aiding in the reintegration of individuals post-incarceration. Leonard approaches life with kindness, uncovering his potential and inspiring others to do the same. His purpose is clear: to make a positive impact on those seeking support within the underserved communities.
